A garden, and how you design it ... is a unique expression of one's personality. Whether small or large... a place of intimate serenity is created as you simply combine a water feature, flowers, a sitting area with plants that cause you uniquely, to enter a restful, thoughtful state of mind.

Many gardens focus on meditation, while others stimulate the senses visually, such as butterfly gardens that lead you from rest into creative thought. Some gardens are large enough to create areas for multiple experiences as you visit each uniquely created area
of seclusion.

One thing all gardens do is transport us from the daily cares of the bustling workplace ... into unique glimpses of nature, that quiets our souls.

Our gardens are places that bring us face to face with the wonders of God and His handiwork. From the hummingbirds that suspend themselves in mid air, one imagines what miraculous feats of engineering and aerodynamics must have been applied to create such a thing of beauty.

It's amazing to witness the eco systems and communities of frogs, squirrels, hawks and bugs that co-exist within a garden.

While we have many fruit frees in our garden one of the most breathtaking blooms is that of the passion fruit. This majestic bloom, of great detail and color, transforms itself from the center out, into a large oval shaped sweet tropical fruit, which looks similar to a plum. When it has ripened it turns a deep burgundy and it's ready to eat. Hundreds of sweet yellow seeds are inside, and they just make your mouth water with a fresh tang. Passion fruit grows on a vine and covers any other tree it gets close to. Our dog, Misty takes regular tours searching out the most ripe fruit for her dining pleasure. Passion fruit really makes a perfect dessert to her.

We enjoy the majesty of watching a fruit tree blossom...then that blossom transforms into a piece of fruit that can nourish our bodies. Indeed, there is a creator... and we see a glimpse of the plan He also has for our lives, as we meditate and refresh our souls ... in the garden.

Serenity transports us...

to special intimate quiet moments...
in the garden...

Hundreds of rose bushes display changing beauty
each week...
