We are a small, very close family, and our two boys are now 19 and 21.

MICHAEL

Michael, our younger son, is very involved with baseball and watching his progress over the years "on the field" has been very exciting. He excels in his scholastic endeavors and is an honors student. Mike loves video games, hanging out with his many friends from our church, Horizon Christian Fellowship, and playing with his dog Misty. He's an accomplished drummer and you can find him entertaining his friends with barbeques, fun in the pool and movies in his game room most weekends. He's a young man of fine character, a good leader, and we're very proud of the values he's set for his life.

(See photos at left of Mike ready for lots of dancing rocking and roll'n at the prom, and below at one of his winning games.)

Update - May 2011: Mike is now 19 and has selected Loyola Marymount University to lead him to a degree in Business Managment.

His grades are good and he still plays baseball. Michael has been quickly recognized as a young man of good character, in the eyes of his peers, and been invited to join the "Beta Theta Pi" Fraternity. As a member of "Beta" he was recognized by a Marina Del Rey Law firm and has been offered a position in accounting in their offices... which he works around his class study schedule. Needless to say we very proud of his accomplishments and are looking forward to seeing more of him this summer.

DAN

Dan, our older son, has completed a special Bible College program called the Horizon School of Evangelism. He served for several weeks in San Salvador this past year working with orphan children and just returned from the "Love out Loud" bus tour across United States. Danny has been honored with the privilege of serving this next year on staff at the School of Horizon as their Videoaugrapher. He'll be getting a degree in Digital Video and Game Production and hopes to travel to foreign countries bringing back video footage showing the needs of our church missionaries in the field.

See photo (right) of Dan taken at Vail aprez-ski.

(below) Dan let Mom comb his hair back...
Wow, what a great looking guy.

Dan

He's a young man of good character who loves hanging out at home with his many many friends... skiing, video games and eating great food. Dan is very tenderhearted and humble. His full potential has not yet been reached, but he is a guy who will be very successful as evidenced by his many creative gifts.

Update - May 2011: Dan is now 21 and has continued on with Pastor George Clerie in an even more intense Christian missions program. "Impact 195" is a school designed to train up individuals who want to be "life changers in the 195 countries of the world". Dan has now been on the Team for 3 years. He works in the field of videography as well as teaching.

Dan's been to Africa, Haiti 3 times, and China bringing back videos of great needs... as a result of earthquakes or war... so many Church's get a first hand look at the needs of people in these underprivileged countries. His life is in progress, and he has exceptional gifts to accomplish things that will bring Glory to God. Kevin and I have been blessed with many good friends and enjoy relaxing in our garden while the guys just have fun. We love to travel together to cat shows and we awake every morning to something funny, as one of our little "bed mates" is waking us up. Could be a toy... with meows that it's time to play...or just a meow that demands "kiss me...it's time to get up". We truly enjoy our home, and gardening is a hobby of mine. Often we'll plant a vegetable garden ...but this year our efforts have been in the enjoyment of blooming flowers and relaxing in the shade and privacy of our lounging areas. We hope you'll enjoy the tour of our gardens with its reflecting pools, waterfalls and flowers.

No day would be complete without talking to our very special Siamese cat friends. We've grown to know some of the finest, most knowledgeable cat breeders in the northern hemisphere and are most grateful for their friendship and many kindnesses towards us. Our Siamese cats are family members and each little kitty is a special little person to us. We treasure them and will always be thankful to Susan Perkins of Ayuthaya Siamese and Virginia Wheeldon, Thaifong Siamese who have helped us get our breeding program started. The importance of friendships with breeders of excellence can not be stressed enough in the careful breeding of fine Siamese.
